Comprender el verdadero papel del chasis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El BMW E46 se cita a menudo como uno de los BMW m\u00e1s equilibrados jam\u00e1s producidos. Con su arquitectura de tracci\u00f3n trasera, una distribuci\u00f3n del peso cercana al 50\/50 y un tren de rodaje sofisticado para su \u00e9poca, ten\u00eda una base excelente sobre el papel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, en retrospectiva y con la experiencia, una cosa est\u00e1 clara:&nbsp;<strong>el chasis del E46 no es absolutamente r\u00edgido<\/strong>. Es&nbsp;<em>suficientemente<\/em>&nbsp;r\u00edgido para su uso original, pero&nbsp;<strong>se deforma<\/strong>, de forma mensurable, bajo restricciones din\u00e1micas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comprender estas deformaciones nos permite entender&nbsp;<strong>por qu\u00e9 algunas modificaciones funcionan de verdad<\/strong>, y por qu\u00e9 otras son puramente est\u00e9ticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El chasis del BMW E46: una estructura semirr\u00edgida, no un bloque monol\u00edtico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El chasis de un E46 es un&nbsp;<strong>casco de acero autoportante<\/strong>, compuesto por :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>miembros longitudinales<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>de traviesas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>puntos de montaje de la suspensi\u00f3n (torretas, cunas)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>zonas deliberadamente deformables (seguridad)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A diferencia de un chasis tubular o una moderna carcasa de carbono,&nbsp;<strong>el conjunto no es perfectamente r\u00edgido<\/strong>. Y eso no es un defecto: se necesita cierta flexibilidad para filtrar las limitaciones y mantener la comodidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El problema se produce cuando :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>el coche envejece (fatiga del metal),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Las tensiones aumentan (neum\u00e1ticos modernos, conducci\u00f3n din\u00e1mica),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ciertas \u00e1reas est\u00e1n funcionando\u00a0<strong>m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de aquello para lo que fueron dise\u00f1ados<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lo que ocurre f\u00edsicamente en una curva: la realidad del esfuerzo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando un E46 entra en una curva, suceden varias cosas&nbsp;<strong>simult\u00e1neamente<\/strong>&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Transferencia de carga lateral<\/strong><br>El peso se desplaza a las ruedas exteriores.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fuerza vertical sobre los amortiguadores<\/strong><br>El amortiguador exterior se comprime bruscamente.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fuerza horizontal sobre las torretas<\/strong><br>El puntal ejerce un empuje\u00a0<em>hacia el exterior<\/em>\u00a0de la caja.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 Por lo tanto, las torretas delanteras tienden a&nbsp;<strong>alejarse unos de otros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este movimiento es peque\u00f1o (unas d\u00e9cimas de mil\u00edmetro), pero din\u00e1mico:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>es\u00a0<strong>r\u00e1pido<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>repetitivo<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>asim\u00e9trico<\/strong>\u00a0(izquierda \u2260 derecha).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Y sobre todo :&nbsp;<strong>modifica la geometr\u00eda de la suspensi\u00f3n en tiempo real<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Por qu\u00e9 la deformaci\u00f3n del chasis plantea un problema de comportamiento<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Una suspensi\u00f3n est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada para funcionar en una geometr\u00eda determinada:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>camber<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>caza<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00e1ngulo de giro<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>paralelismo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Si los puntos de anclaje se mueven :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>la rueda ya no trabaja en el \u00e1ngulo previsto,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>la superficie de contacto del neum\u00e1tico var\u00eda,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>la respuesta de la direcci\u00f3n se vuelve menos predecible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>El conductor siente entonces :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>un borr\u00f3n al entrar en las curvas,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>direcci\u00f3n menos clara,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>correcciones constantes en apoyo,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>un coche que parece \u201cfuncionar\u201d debajo de \u00e9l.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>No es una p\u00e9rdida pura de adherencia, pero&nbsp;<strong>una p\u00e9rdida de coherencia class=\"wp-block-heading\">Efecto mec\u00e1nico real<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>deformaci\u00f3n lateral reducida,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>mantener la geometr\u00eda de la En apoyo :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>par motor,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fuerzas laterales,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reacciones en suspensi\u00f3n<br>crear\u00a0<strong>esfuerzo de torsi\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0en la parte trasera del casco.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Incluso sin llegar a los conocidos problemas de fisuraci\u00f3n de la cuna, observamos :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ligera flexi\u00f3n longitudinal,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>movimientos par\u00e1sitos entre los dos lados del eje trasero.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La barra estabilizadora trasera: una funci\u00f3n de equilibrio global<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La barra trasera no funciona como la delantera.
