The automatic transmission selector is one of the most heavily used components in the passenger compartment. On every trip, your hand comes into contact with the gearshift knob, which eventually leaves marks on the PRND cover.

How do I choose the right version?

We recommend that you not base your choice solely on your BMW model.

In fact, depending on the model year or original equipment, the same vehicle may be equipped with two different versions.

Installation

Replacing the insert is simple and does not require replacing the entire gearshift lever.

To make the procedure easier, we recommend that you:

• Gently warm the gearshift knob with a hair dryer to soften the original adhesive; ;
• Use the plastic removal kit provided to remove the old insert without damaging the selector.

Once the old insert has been removed, simply clean the mounting bracket before installing the new insert.
