BMW Bluetooth AUX module

Many BMWs, notably E-generations and some early F-generations, are equipped with an AUX socket but do not have native Bluetooth audio streaming, although they do have the option to make calls.

This module adds wireless music playback via Bluetooth, simply by using the vehicle's original AUX input.

No modifications.

Operating principle

The module connects :

• To the vehicle's AUX 3.5mm socket

• USB power supply (original USB plug or cigarette-lighter adapter)

It converts your smartphone's Bluetooth signal into an analog audio signal transmitted via the AUX input.

The vehicle remains entirely original.

This module requires :

• Functional AUX socket

• The ability to select the «AUX» source in the multimedia system

If your vehicle does not have an AUX input, a BMW activation kit may be required.
