Reinforced Aluminum Coolant Clamp – BMW N47/N57
Permanently replaces the weak original BMW plastic tube (Part No. 11127810707)
A small part… that can bring your BMW to a standstill.
BMW designed this plastic coolant outlet pipe to reduce manufacturing costs and weight.
Unfortunately, after several years of use, repeated cycles of heating and cooling gradually weaken the plastic.
Result:
- Appearance of microcracks
- Coolant Leak
- Steady decrease in fluid level
- Risk of Engine Overheating
- Significant disassembly is required to perform the replacement
At Macote, we believe that a part known for its weakness deserves a durable solution.
That is why we are offering this version 100 % aluminum, designed to permanently replace the original plastic part.
Why is this part breaking?
On modern BMW diesel engines, this tube is mounted directly on the cylinder head.
He is constantly exposed to:
- temperatures that can exceed 100°C
- daily temperature fluctuations
- engine vibrations
- cooling system pressure
As everyone knows, over time and with heat, plastic eventually becomes brittle.
The crack usually runs the entire length of the pipe. This crack is enough to cause a leak that can sometimes be difficult to locate.
The Most Common Symptoms
Is your BMW showing any of the following symptoms?
- Coolant level dropping for no apparent reason
- «Add Coolant» message»
- Smell of hot liquid after a drive
- White or pink streaks around the intake manifold
- Liquid dripping from under the engine
- A leak located behind the engine that is difficult to identify
In many cases, this part is to blame.
Why choose an aluminum version?
Unlike the original plastic, aluminum:
- Does not become brittle over time
- Withstands high temperatures
- Better resistance to engine vibrations
- Offers excellent dimensional stability
- Significantly extends the service life of the part
It's a subtle but particularly significant improvement for all the engines in question.
A genuine OEM+ upgrade
Our goal is not to modify your BMW.
Our goal is to address a known weakness while preserving:
- the original dimensions
- the original assembly
- BMW mounting points
- the O-ring
- manufacturer compatibility
When it comes to reliability, everything is changing.
The Benefits
- All-aluminum body
- High-Precision Machining
- Direct replacement for the BMW part
- Installation without modifications
- Greater durability than the original plastic
- Sustainable solution
Why replace this part as a preventive measure?
Replacement is often performed during:
- Replacement of the intake manifold
- cleaning of intake ducts
- Replacement of the Cooler/EGR Valve
- Replacing the glow plugs
- Work on the intake flaps
Since much of the disassembly has already been completed, replacing this part as a preventive measure will help avoid having to perform the same work again a few months later.
